Refund policy

This policy explains how to request a refund, the right of withdrawal that applies, and how refunds are processed via our payment processor, Stripe.

1. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 days from subscribing to withdraw.

wawie provides a digital service with immediate performance. By subscribing and starting to use the service (consuming credits) within that period, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal no longer applies to credits already consumed.

If you have not used the current cycle’s credits, you can obtain a full refund of that cycle within the 14-day period.

2. How to request a refund

Two ways:

We review each request and reply as soon as possible.

3. Processing by Stripe

Payments and refunds are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. An approved refund is issued to the original payment method.

The time to receive it depends on your bank, usually 5 to 10 business days. The credit appears under the “WAWIE AI” descriptor on your statement.

4. Subscriptions and renewal

Stopping renewal is not a refund: it prevents future charges, and your access stays active until the end of the period already paid for. You can do this at any time from Settings → Subscription.

A refund of the current period, where due, is governed by this policy.

5. Non-refundable cases

The following are generally not refundable:

A partial refund or goodwill gesture may be granted case by case, at our discretion.

6. Technical issues

If a generation fails for a reason attributable to us, the corresponding credits are refunded to your balance. If a persistent problem prevents you from using a subscription, contact us: we first seek to fix the problem, and failing that, to refund you fairly.

7. Contact

For any question about refunds: contact@wawie.io. This policy complements our Legal notice & terms.
